Our restaurant partners are essential to the success of Dining Out For Life. As a Restaurant Partner, you have an opportunity to:

Restaurant Partners agree to donate a minimum of 20% of their sales for breakfast , lunch, or dinner on Thursday, April 30, 2020. You also have an option of whether or not to include alcohol in your total sales.

100% Club (100% of sales):

  • Use of your name and corporate logo on advertisements when space is available
  • Guaranteed write-up on Aliveness social media and inclusion in The Aliveline e-newsletter leading up the event
  • Name and logo in official Dining Out For Life Dining Guide
  • Potential press coverage of your restaurant
  • A photo and testimonial on the homepage of DiningOutForLifeMN.org and hyperlink to your website
  • Your restaurant’s information on Dining Out For Life International website

Platinum+ Level (50%):

  • Use of your name and corporate logo in advertisements when space is available
  • Name and logo in official Dining Out For Life Dining Guide
  • Potential press coverage of your restaurant
  • A logo and hyperlink to your restaurant’s website on DiningOutForLifeMN.org
  • Your restaurant's information on Dining Out For Life International website

Platinum Level (35%):

  • Use of your name and corporate logo in advertisements when space is available
  • Name and logo in official Dining Out For Life Dining Guide
  • Potential press coverage of your restaurant
  • A logo and hyperlink to your restaurant’s website on DiningOutForLifeMN.org

Gold Level (25%):

  • Use of your restaurant’s name in advertisements when space is available
  • Name in official Dining Out For Life Dining Guide
  • A hyperlink from DiningOutForLifeMN.org to your restaurant's website.
  • Your restaurant's information on Dining Out For Life International website.

 

Silver Level (20%):

  • Use of your restaurant’s name in advertisements when space is available
  • Name in official Dining Out For Life Dining Guide
  • Your restaurant’s name on DiningOutForLifeMN.org
  • Your restaurant’s information on Dining Out For Life International website

Dining Out For Life Restaurant Agreement

As a Dining Out For Life participating restaurant, I agree to:
  • Donate the selected percentage of total gross food and beverage sales of all patrons for selected meals during Dining Out For Life on Thursday, April 30, 2020
  • Allow The Aliveness Project to use restaurant's name in materials promoting Dining Out For Life
  • Promote Dining Out For Life by displaying and/or distributing event materials a minimum of 2-3 weeks before the event.
  • Inform servers, managers, and other restaurant personnel about Dining Out For Life, so they can promote the event to diners and answer basic event questions (restaurant training available on TBD)
  • Permit The Aliveness Project to place a volunteer Ambassador or provide your own during participating meals on Dining Out For Life day. 
  • Send or deliver a check for the total contribution payable to The Aliveness Project no later than May 8, 2020.
The Aliveness Project will:
  • Produce, print, and distribute  high quality promotional materials including posters, bill inserts, and dining guides
  • Orchestrate a publicity campaign to promote Dining Out For Life via local radio, TV, and print media 
  • Mail a Dining Out For Life dining guide with a complete list of participating restaurants to thousands of supporters and potential diners 
  • Provide a website and print referral list of participating restaurants for diners
  • Offer training to restaurant staff and answer questions about the event 
  • Provide periodic updates on Dining Out For Life during the campaign through email, social media, etc. 

We agree to contribute a minimum of the percentage selected below of total gross food and beverage sales of all patrons during Dining Out For Life. 

Please estimate quantities of each of the following materials you need to successfully promote Dining Out For Life in April. Materials will be delivered to your restaurant 2-3 weeks prior to the event. Using them will help to ensure success at your restaurant on April 30, 2020. All materials are professionally designed/printed in full color.

Volunteer Ambassadors are vitally important to promoting your restaurant's participation on the day of the event. Ambassadors:
  • Drive sales by inviting friends/family to dine at your restaurant
  • Approach tables and thank guests, share information, and answer questions 
  • Encourage diners to make additional donations and enter to win prizes
It us up to the discretion of The Aliveness Project, with your cooperation, to place Ambassadors in your restaurant on Dining Out For Life day. We will attempt to provide an Ambassador during your busiest, participating meal based on availability. Restaurants participating at higher percentages will be prioritized.
